Incest legalities and Karens – Never fight with Karens
Incest legalities and Karens is this week’s discussion. Any incestuous relationship, where one person is not of age and the other is an adult is considered non-consentual. Even in many of the nations who otherwise ignore incestuous unions, playing with minors will still land an adult person in serious trouble. Karens on the other hand are nosy individuals, male or female, who take it upon themselves to be the moral police in other peoples’ lives.

But I have noticed that when it comes to homosexual encounters, even in our modern porn, incest gets a pass. Mothers and Daughters often share a man, playing with each other in the mix. And I hear (because I’m not one to watch much of it) that gay porn loves to play “Who’s your Daddy?” This is also true in both Ireland, Germany and Hong Kong. These countries only allow Incest between homosexual couples. Persecuting any heterosexual union that is too closely related. Maybe it is just that the homosexuals have already fought to be left alone. But what if it’s only the underlying fear of genetic atrocities seems to preoccupy those making and enforcing the rules.Speaking of rule enforcers, it takes a real busybody to go after incestuous couples. That is because for most people, Incest is something happening behind closed doors. It actually usually only comes to light in one of two instances. Either by pushing back against the censoring I like do, or when someone gets pregnant.
Taking Offense is Personal
The homosexuals used to have a saying about someone protesting too much. It was their way of suggesting that a Karen (or Darren), was only fighting because s/he really wanted what they had. I think that this is probably true. For the most part what someone does, whether or not it is my thing, doesn’t concern me. So the time wasted hunting down someone for offensive behavior seems crazy. Why devote the time and energy trying to destroy something that isn’t personal? If it is personal, then why? There must be something within themselves that it is triggering. Something that they wish would remain buried.
I was recently presented with support for this theory. My monthly get together with my “incest is best” group welcomed a new member. It turns out that Chloe (not her real name) used to harass the hell out of Margie. But now that she has started an incestuous relationship with her big brother, she was not only humbled but extremely apologetic. It was amazing to watch really, she was practically grovelling in her humility.
What I really think fuels Darrens and Karens is the peace and contentment that they see in others. Miserable for whatever reason; they look at a happy face as a smug one. Their own inner darkness casts a shadow around them. Distorting their reality into something that mocks them. Their response is to lash out with everything they have. Sad, so sad. Keep this in mind the next time some nosy Karen or Darren tries to ruin your day.
